Constance grew up in Plano, Texas, and Richmond, Virginia, embodying leadership and determination from a young age. While attending high school in Virginia, she made history as the first Black drum major for the school’s marching band, showcasing her drive to break barriers and lead with confidence.

She pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology with a minor in Substance Abuse and Addictions. Here she was a member of the Center for Psycho-Social Health Research team, where she fostered her understanding of human behavior and the importance of advocacy.

Legal Training

Constance first realized she wanted to be involved in law in 2015, when she served as an Assistant Court Liaison, a role that inspired her to go beyond connecting individuals to resources. Recognizing the need to amplify the voices of underserved populations, she pursued a career in law to help others seek justice and reclaim their rights. She attended Appalachian School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 2019 with concentrations in Litigation and Natural Resources. Her dedication to learning extended to active involvement in extracurricular activities that further enriched her experience.
