Biography
Early Life & Career
Daniel Soo grew up in Kailua Kona, Hawaii, where he attended Hualālai Academy. His early interest in law was sparked when the Governor of Hawaii visited his elementary school, sharing that his greatest accomplishment was being an attorney because it serves as a line of defense to protect others. This pivotal moment set Daniel on a path toward a legal career. He later attended the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Law and Society.
Legal Training
Daniel pursued his legal education at Whittier Law School, graduating with a Juris Doctor in 2016. During law school, he participated in an Intellectual Property Study Abroad program in Barcelona and was active in the Asian Pacific Islander Association. Since then he has gained extensive experience as an attorney, working in Transactions, Contracts, General Counsel, Federal Administrative Law, and Franchise Law.
