Early Life & Career

David Bunn grew up in Pasadena, California, where he attended Maranatha High School. During those formative years, he distinguished himself as both an Eagle Scout and his high school’s Student Body President—experiences that strengthened his leadership skills, discipline, and commitment to serving others.

David went on to attend Southern Methodist University, earning a B.B.A. in Business Management with a minor in International Studies. While at SMU, he was a proud member of the Men's Swim and Dive Team and was recognized as a Hunt Leadership Scholar. These experiences helped shape his work ethic, competitive drive, and passion for excellence.

Legal Training

David earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. During law school, he distinguished himself as a National Moot Court Finalist, an experience that sparked his passion for advocacy and helped him discover the profound impact of using the law to make a difference in people’s lives. He graduated in 2024 and was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2025.

David joined Smith Clinesmith as an Associate Attorney practicing Personal Injury law. He is driven by a belief in fearless advocacy and the importance of achieving meaningful results for the firm’s clients—especially those who have experienced serious harm or neglect. He approaches each case with preparation, purpose, and the conviction that every effort matters.
