Biography

Early Life & Education

Tyler grew up in Canton, Texas. At Canton High School, he was a dedicated member of the marching band, contributing to its success as they won the state championship twice. Keeping this momentum, he received a music scholarship that supported him throughout his four years at university. Tyler attended Northwestern State University in Louisiana, where his passion for music thrived as he played an active role in band. He also embraced leadership opportunities, serving as the president of his fraternity. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Sciences before pursuing his legal education. His path toward law was inspired by an attorney who guided him through a difficult time, igniting a passion for helping others through the legal system.

Legal Training

Tyler attended South Texas College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2016. During law school, he distinguished himself as an active participant in the Contract Drafting and Negotiation Law-Meet Competition, winning the prestigious 2015 West Coast Semi-Finals Best Draft award. His passion for diverse areas of law also led him to join the Fashion Law Society. Since becoming licensed to practice in 2017, Tyler has gained experience in Healthcare Liability, Insurance Defense, and Employment Law.
