Biography
Dioselyn grew up in Quito, Ecuador, where she graduated from Giovanni Antonio Farina School and served as Student Government President. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador (PUCE), building a strong legal foundation across criminal, environmental, labor, and corporate law with a growing specialization in civil litigation.
Dioselyn serves as a Litigation Paralegal at Smith Clinesmith, where she draws on her extensive legal training and bilingual background to assist the Litigation Managing Partner in complex elder abuse, nursing home negligence, and catastrophic personal injury cases. She manages cases from pre-litigation investigation through discovery, mediation, arbitration, trial preparation, and resolution, handling everything from drafting pleadings and dispositive motions to coordinating court calendars and overseeing state and federal e-filing. Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Environmental Law with a Specialization in Anti-Corruption Strategies at the University of La Rioja, Dioselyn continues to deepen her legal expertise while contributing to the firm's mission of fighting for vulnerable clients.
