Prior to joining Smith Clinesmith, Erica served as a Courtroom Deputy for a United States District Court Judge in Dallas, where she managed complex trial and hearing calendars, coordinated across multiple judicial departments, and served as a critical liaison between the court and practicing attorneys. That experience — combined with earlier roles in probation services and staff accounting — forged an operational discipline and attention to detail that translate seamlessly into the high-stakes environment of elder abuse and nursing home neglect litigation.

Erica has been a cornerstone of the Smith Clinesmith litigation team for the past three years, bringing her federal court expertise to bear as a Litigation Paralegal before stepping into her current executive role.
